Overview

Join us in inspiring the next generation of young women! We are raising $70,000 to provide an unforgettable international cultural immersion trip for teen girls to be hosted by GIRL CAPACITY Founder, Talia Hill, via EF Educational Tours. This transformative experience will promote global perspectives, enhanced education, increased self-confidence, personal growth, social skills, and foster lifelong friendships. Our destinations are Paris, France and Rome, Italy, where participants will explore diverse cultures, engage with local communities, and learn invaluable life skills.

As a former flight attendant and an 8th grade ELA Teacher, GIRL CAPACITY Founder, Talia Hill knows the value of immersive, and blended learning experiences. Having traveled the world and visited all continents except for Australia, one of the most invaluable takeaways from her time as a flight attendant are the countless opportunities afforded to forge self-confidence, self-awareness, public speaking, enhanced critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, increased social development, communication skills, and professional growth. As a former 8th grade ELA Teacher, a passionate devotion to the seen and unseen cultivated a deep desire to inspire her students not only to excel academically, but also to embrace their unique skills, talents, and potential, fostering a passion for meaningful influence that transcended the classroom. From this unique blend of experience, a passion for traveling and teaching, and its undeniable impact which all unite to presently inspire active local and global impact, Talia ardently initiates this campaign, fervently desiring that teen girls will have access, absent of barriers, to the same avenues of one day making an indelible difference for others, as she. 

Why This Matters

In today’s interconnected world, cultural understanding, global perspective, and confident leadership skills are essential. Many teen girls face societal pressures that can impact their self-confidence and worldview. This cultural immersive international trip will help them:

• Build Confidence: Engaging in new experiences fosters self-reliance, confidence, soft, hard, and organizational skills, engagement of new experiences, goal achievement, and social development.

• Develop Global Perspective: Learning about different cultures broadens perspectives, inspires creativity, innovative thinking, enhances cultural competence for personal and professional relationships, and practical knowledge from practical experiences.

• Strengthen Leadership Skills: Group activities and community engagement will nurture leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, enhanced decision-making, adaptability, conflict resolution, vision and goal setting, courage, initiative, and effective communication.

Trip Highlights

• Dates: JUL 13 – JUL 21, 2026 

• Destinations: Paris, France, and Rome, Italy

• Cultural Workshops: Participate in local art, dance, or cooking classes led by tour guides.

• Guided Tours: Explore historical sites, markets, and natural wonders with local guides. (Colosseum, Pantheon, Champs-Élysées, Eiffel Tower, and the Louvre)

• Reflection and Growth: Daily discussions to promote critical thinking, confident communication, reflection on experiences, and ignition of personal growth.

How You Can Help

1. Donate: Every dollar counts! Your contribution will directly support travel expenses which covers airfare, accommodations, meals, activity costs, and chaperones, as we desire to cover the entire cost for 12 girls, eligible ages 13-17, and 4 adult chaperones, thereby eliminating all barriers to access.

o $50: Miscellaneous supplies per participant

o $100: Trip “tips” expense per participant

o $5,000: Trip cost per participant (Airfare & transportation, Hotels, Regional-style meals, Guided sightseeing, Entrances (Museums, etc.))

2. Share: Help us spread the word! Share our campaign on social media and encourage your friends and family to contribute.

3. Sponsor a Girl: Consider covering the full cost for a participant who might not be able to afford it. 

Recognition

As a thank you for your generous support, we will:

• Recognize donors on our campaign website and social media.

• Provide updates on the trip, including photos and stories from participants.

• Host a celebration event after the trip to share experiences and insights.
